The Keystone

The Meaning
The Troop selected the shape of the keystone for its logo/patch. A keystone is the wedge-shaped piece at the crown of an arch that holds the other pieces in place. It serves as a graphic representation of the troop's stabilizing influence in the life of its scouts as they individually contribute to the strength of the troop. In the center of the keystone, is a simple drawing of a tent with 2 feet sticking out. On one of the feet is a bandage. The drawing suggests that we are a hiking and camping troop.
